Welcome to Kinlet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kinlet mobile application ("the App") provided by Kinlet ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Kinlet is a mobile application designed to help families discover kid-friendly places, activities, and local recommendations. The App provides location-based suggestions and information to enhance family experiences.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information as necessary.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
- Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the property of Kinlet and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on any content from the App without our express written permission.
6. Location Services
The App uses location data to provide its core features. By enabling location services, you consent to the collection and use of your location information as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain functionality.
7. Third-Party Content and Services
The App may display information about third-party businesses, locations, and services. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any third-party content. Your interactions with third-party businesses or services are solely between you and the third party.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or recommendations provided through the App.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kinlet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kinlet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
